✧ User Settings

Camera/Microphone Test

• This feature allows you to test whether your camera and microphone are working properly without turning them on in the Space.
• The video box in the Settings menu and the one in the Space are no longer synchronized.
• Additionally, the icons for the camera and microphone in the video box have been removed.

Removed Features

Several features have been removed from the Settings menu with this update.

Microphone noise cancellation and firewall proxy settings are now enabled by default.

• Removed Features:
  • Blur background (consumes more battery power)
  • Microphone volume control bar
  • Cancel mic noise
  • Enable firewall proxy (requires refresh)
• Mobile App:
  • Virtual background

Updates to Map Settings

Map Editor > Map Manager > Map Settings (gear icon)

• Removed Features

  • Video chat layout

  • Video chat activate distance & Video chat deactivate distance settings

    <aside> 💡 The active distance has been set to the default value of 6 tiles, and this setting will be applied to Spaces created after this update.

    Three-phase active distance - Based on the tile where your avatar is standing

    (1) Users located 6 or fewer tiles from you - Active (Fully Visible)

    (2) Users located 7 to 10 tiles from you - Active (Translucent Window)

    (3) Users located 11 or more tiles from you - Inactive (Not Visible)
